THE LEAD VERDICT
“the plating was absolutely stunning - their duck confit arrived artfully arranged with roasted vegetables in a vibrant rainbow of colors garnished with microgreens and a perfect quenelle of potato purée. every dish looked like it belonged in a food magazine”
“teh lighting was terrible for photos with harsh overhead fluorescents that washed out all the beautiful colors of the FOOD ngl such a shame when the presentation was so carefully crafted skip it”

“the tables are crammed so close together that i couldn't even get a decent overhead shot without including my neighbor's elbow which was frustrating”
“solo dining at the bar was perfect - attentive bartender who checked in without hovering great view of the open kitchen and the steak frites was cooked exactly to order. sometimes eating alone at the bar beats a crowded table cant complain”
“the bar stools were surprisingly uncomfortable for a longer meal with like no back support. fine for a drink but not ideal for a full dinner service honestly would reccomend”

“lowkey teh wifi is painfully slow and kept cutting out so i couldn't get any work done despite the otherwise perfect café atmosphere which sucked”
“their house burger is a thing of beauty - two perfectly seasoned patties wiht aged cheddar crispy bacon and a tangy aioli plus they've got excellent quebec craft beers on tap nuff said”

“not even kidding impressed tehy offer congee as a brunch option - it was creamy and comforting with perfectly tender pork and preserved egg reminds me of the versions i grew up with”
“teh chopsticks they gave us were those flimsy wooden ones that splinter when you try to pick up anything substantial - invest in proper utensils if you're serving asian dishes”
“the seafood linguine featured perfectly cooked mussels clams and shrimp in a light white wine sauce that let the ocean flavors shine. the seafood was clearly fresh and the pasta had that perfect al dente bite”
“one of teh clams in my dish hadn't opened during cooking which should never make it to teh plate. ok but like basic seafood safety that any kitchen should catch skip it”
“reaal talk their flat white was exceptional - properly steamed milk wiht microfoam that held its pattern adn beans roasted to perfection with notes of chocolate and hazelnut. the barista clearly knew their craft and the espresso pulled beautifully idk”
“the café area was uncomfortably cramped during morning rush with barely enough room to navigate between tables. hard to enjoy that perfect coffee when you're constantly bumping into other customers”
