“good family place, portions are huge so everyone left happy. the kids pancakes were massive and kept my picky eaters satisfied while we got to eat real food”

“tbh no high chairs when we got there with our toddler and we had to wait for them to pull one out of storage which held up our whole meal”

“i like how they actually use fresh local stuff and pile on the vegetables wihtout being weird about it. the avocado toast has a good amount of mixed GREENS and the bread is clearly quality whole grain yikes”

“teh portions are kinda too big THO like i took half of it home because it was just overwhelming sometimes more isnt better”

“counter seating solo was nice - goood view of the open kitchen and the chef actually came out to talk about the specials yo felt personal and attentive without being weird about it idk”

“music was too loud which kinda killed teh peaceful vibe i was going for wiht SOLO dining”

“lowkey the salmon bagel has some seriously fresh lox in it - like SILKY adn bright orange with that perfect salt thing that pairs so well with the cream cheese and capers ugh”

“but the bagel itself was kinda stale like it was day old or smth. legit when youre charging premium prices for smoked salmon you gotta have a good bagel base”

“their breakfast burrito is killer - packed wiht scrambled eggs bacon and this amazing chipotle sauce. seriously huge so you stay full for like hours”

“but it took forever just to get seated even tho i could see empty tables. they seemed understaffed for the weekend rush wow”

“their flat white is actually so good - the espresso is balanced perfectly with this velvety microfoam and gorgeous latte art. the beans have this chocolate thing going on that lingers in a nice way”

“but teh cafe gets super loud when its busy in the morning which makes it hard to just chill with your coffee legit the espresso machine is basically right next to all the tables”

“i mean breakfast poutine is genius honestly!! crispy fries, cheese curds, holladnaise and a fried egg on top. street food but elevated. mind blown not gonna lie”

“service was slow even tho we weren't even busy. took forever just to get coffee refilled”
