“holy cow teh carnitas taco reminded me of what my zio used to make back in tuscany. for real the pork was SO tender, like it literally fell apart when i bit into it and had this insane depth of flavor. just meat, onion and cilantro on a warm corn tortilla - sometimes simple is PERFECT nuff said”

“but then i got the cheese quesadilla and it was just... lowkey tragic, they literally used processed american cheese instead of something wiht actual flavor. such a letdown”

“the al pastor was LEGIT - perfect char adn sweetness from the pineapple, meat that was actually marinated right and cooked on a vertical trompo which like... you dont see that technique at casual spots very often at all”

“but the corn tortillas were definitely store-bought and not fresh pressed which is a bummer. actually they lacked that texture and actual corn flavor that would've made these tacos truly exceptional”

“yo they dont have real desserts but ngl the horchata was surprisingly amazing - creamy, had that perfect cinnamon spice, and it was so refreshing after eating all those spicy tacos. kinda felt like a liquid dessert that cleaned your palate”

“no wine at all which whatever its a taco stand but not even having beer felt like a missed opportunity to pair with the food ya know”

“the veggie tacos here are surprisingly good honestly - grilled peppers and onions with mushrooms, fresh avocado and cilantro that actually tastes like someone seasoned them properly instead of just throwing stuff together”
