THE LEAD VERDICT
“ok but teh osso buco falls off the bone adn the sauce is so rich and wine forward it reminds me of the best braised stuff ive had - deep complex flavors from hours and hours of slow cooking idk”
“not even kidding for what theyre charging the bread service sucked like store bought dinner rolls that werent even warm adn totally forgettable”
ALSO FILED
“the osso buco was fall off the bone tender with rich wine braised flavors even a meat and potatoes guy like me appreciated it. for real traditional italian comfort food done at the highest level”
“the whole thing felt a bit pretentious tbh. multiple servers explaining each course in detail when i just wanted to eat some good italian food wihtout all the theater 10/10”
“the espresso after dinner was actually realy good - properly pulled with a thick crema and bright complex notes that was honestly as good as specialty coffee shops which you basically never get at fancy restaurants not gonna lie”
“they dont have any milk alternatives for coffee which seems like a pretty big oversight for a high end place in like 2024”
“the tuna crudo had this perfect silky texture that just melts on your tongue, the crispy cucumber bits were a good contrast and the chili oil gave just the right amount of heat wihtout being too much would go back”
“the focaccia was weirdly dense and chewy like it didnt have that light airy inside you expect felt more like day old bread than fresh baked”
“the risotto had that perfect al dente texture - each grain distinct yet creamy wild mushrooms sautéed to get deep earthy flavors. the parmesan was aged right adding sharp complexity”
“the bread service was disappointing dense cold focaccia that lacked the airy texture and olive oil richness you expect. at this price bread should be stellar big time”
“the crudo had incredibly fresh fish with clean bright flavors paper thin radish citrus quality olive oil that didnt mask the seafood. could taste the ocean in every bite”
“portions are kinda small for the price the $48 pasta course left me wanting more honestly both in satisfaction and value for fine dining”
“dining solo at the bar was incredible the sommelier walked me through wine pairings with each course and the bartender made a custom negroni thing. felt like a valued guest not an afterthot”
“the 38th floor views are stunning but the acoustics are terrible sound bounces everywhere making conversation difficult even when theyre not busy”
“so like teh uni risotto hits that sweet spot - creamy arborio with some texture still, adn teh sea urchin brings this briny richness without overpowering the rice no joke”
“teh amuse-bouche came out at room temp when it shouldve been warm which killed the whole flavor thing they were going for”
