THE LEAD VERDICT
“A large bowl of ramen with all the toppings for $16 is good value. The quality rivals places charging $20+ in bigger cities. Edmonton's ramen scene is growing and Dorinku is leading the way on value.”
“Add-ons like extra chashu and an egg bring the total closer to $22. The base bowl is good value but the nickel-and-diming on extras is common in ramen shops and always a bit annoying just saying”

“The ramen presentation was beautiful, the colorful toppings arranged in sections around the bowl, the egg halved to show the golden jammy center, and steam rising through the frame. The warm lighting helped too. Great for food content.”
“gotta say the restaurant is small and dark, typical ramen shop aesthetic but not greaat for photography. The warm-toned lighting makes everything look orange in photos. Daylight visits are better for content.”
“teh spicy miso ramen was legit and rich, funky miso base with a good chili oil layer floating on top!!! The noodles were firm and the egg was perfectly jammy. One of the better bowls of ramen I've had in Edmonton. Impressive.”
“No beer selection beyond basic Sapporo adn Asahi A ramen shop should've a few craft options or at least some good sake look teh drinks menu was an afterthought compared to the food quality.”
“Dorinku Osaka's ramen had a clean, well-balanced tonkotsu broth that wasn't overly heavy. seriously the noodles were properly al dente adn the chashu pork was tender. For a health-conscious ramen option, the portion size was right soo good”
“teh sodium content is likely very high given the concentrated broth but seriously no option for a lighter broth or reduced-sodium version. A shio-style ramen or a vegetable broth option would serve health-aware diners...”
