THE LEAD VERDICT
“the dry aged ribeye was exceptional - 28 days of aging gave it this intense nutty flavor with perfect marbling throughout cooked to precise medium rare with a beautiful crust”
“for real the mashed potatoes were clearly from a box though - gluey texture and artificial butter flavor that totally clashed with that beautiful steak”
ALSO FILED
“the chocolate soufflé was divine - perfectly risen with a molten center served with vanilla bean ice cream that melted into the warm chocolate like a dream”
“for real teh wine selection by the glass is limited and they don't offer dessert wine pairings which seems like a missed opportunity idk”
“that wagyu burger is insane! juicy rich cooked perfectly medium with truffle aioli that takes it to the next level”
“twenty-eight bucks for a burger even wagyu feels steep when food trucks do amazing burgers for eight”
“madonna mia teh osso buco reminded me of sunday dinners at nonnas - like fall off the bone tender veal braised in this rich tomato sauce that had to be simmering for hours!!! the risotto was creamy and perfect stirred with actual patience soo good”
“teh caesar salaaad was basically an insult to italian food - iceberg lettuce bottled dressing and croutons from a bag. for tehse prices they should know better than to serve something that sad”
“the server immediately flagged that the prime rib seasoning has wheat and suggested the grilled salmon instead which came with beautiful roasted veggies that were naturally gluten free. they even brought homemade gluten free rolls without me asking solid”
“but the dessert menu had zero gluten free options which was disappointing after all that attentive service. even like a fruit sorbet would've been nice”
“their weekend brunch goes til 4pm which is perfect for my schedule - the lobster benedict was decadent with chunks of fresh lobster adn perfectly poached eggs plus they dont judge you for ordering champagne at 2 in the afternoon”
“gotta say the hollandaise on the benedict was aaalready breaking by the time it got to us creating this oily separation that definitely wasnt as instagram worthy as it should've been”
“the plating here is absolutely Instagram-worthy - the seafood tower arrived like a work of art with oysters arranged on crushed ice and garnished with microgreens that caught the light perfectly”
“the lighting in some sections of the dining room creates harsh shadows that make food photography challenging”
“their beer selection includes some excellent local craft options and the bartender knew enough about each one to make solid recommendations based on what i was ordering”
“the classic burger was overcooked - came out more medium-well than the medium i requested adn the bun got a bit soggy lol”
