THE LEAD VERDICT
“actually the lunch prix fixe at 35 bucks was such good value for the location and that view - got three courses including this generous seared salmon with seasonal vegetables and decent dessert options too”
“seriously cocktails were expensive tho like 18 to 20 each which adds up fast when you're just trying to enjoy teh rooftop vibe, but i guess you're paying for teh 44th floor views as much as the drinks themselves”
ALSO FILED
“teh bar seating on the 44th floor overlooooking the city was spectacular - the bartender made this excellent Old Fashioned and told some good stories about the CN Tower view, plus the service was attentive without being overbearing which was great for solo dining ha”
“not even kidding teh noise level at the bar during dinner rush was honestly TOO much - couldn't enjoy the peaceful city views because everyone's conversations were just blending together into this constant loud hum smh”

CONTRIBUTING CRITICS
“brunch w a view like this is pure instagram gold but the eggs benedict actually lived up to the hype. hollandaise was perfectly lemony didnt break poached eggs were runny like they should be. sometimes the fancy places nail the basics would go back”
“90 bucks for brunch for two feels steep even w the view. def coffee was good but like not 44-floor-elevator ride good u know what i mean big time”
“44th floor means teh city view is absolutely STUNNING especially after 9pm when all the lights come alive!!! lobster risotto with that backdrop made for like an unforgettable late dinner experience honestly”
“i mean service really slows down after 10pm - took like 20 min jsut to get the dessert menu. feels like theyre winding down even tho theyre technically open til 11”
“the Korean fried chicken had SERIOUS heat that reminded me of the best Nashville hot chicken places - like crispy exterior with gochujang glaze that brought real fire and complex flavor, not just burning for no reason”
“the mac adn cheese side was pretty bland compared to what i'm used to at home - honestly needed some jalapeños or hot sauce or something to match the boldness of the main dishes”
“the chocolate tart was absolutely divine - silky ganache with a crisp pastry shell and this delicate gold leaf on top, and paired with a late-harvest Riesling that complemented the richness so well soo goood”
“the wine selection waas extensive but felt overpriced for what you got, and our server seemed rushed when explaining the dessert wine pairings like they missed a chance to really elevate the whole thing”
“ngl spice crusted salmon had some serious heat that reminded me of nashville's best dry rubs not quite hot chicken level but the chef knows how to build layers of spice that dont jsut burn ur tongue”
“for all that fancy presentation teh portions are honestly pretty small. left feeling like i needed to grab snacks on teh way home which defeats the purpose of a nice dinner out no joke”
“miso glazed black cod was like expertly DONE - silky fish that flakes perfectly w a glaze that balances sweet adn umami without being too much. technique here is spot on for this kinda thing meh”
“teh so called asian inspired veg were just regular carrots and broccoli w soy sauce drizzled on top!!! lazy fusion that shows zero understanding of actual asian cooking methods”
